After a couple of decades, the underground wires feeding power to the yard light failed. This solar powered lamp is a nice looking solution that provides a bit of light without the need to install new underground wiring. The batteries charge during the day and power LEDs at night. Now, the pole looks shabby. Time for a coat of paint!
